Youtube.com Banned in Pakistan

Hi guys!

Here I am again with a new post for this Blog, I’m actually sorry to all of the visitors of Poly Web Blog who wanted to see more stuff here but due to the shortage of time and load of work I couldn’t manage to make any post for it. Here I’m with a new post which is something more than news that is Youtube.com just got banned for all the Pakistani internet users. This came into my assessments the day after all what happened, it was 22^nd of Feb. when this all was actually happened. The Pakistan telecommunication authority blocked youtube.com on 22^nd of Feb. which is also known as the PIE server which means Pakistan’s internet exchange, where all the web traffic in Pakistan passes through. What I think the reason behind it was the uploading of some soft porn and sexual videos to the site and some other religious matters which I don’t want to discuss here. This has definitely created an uproar in the Pakistani society of youtube.com lovers, and was a common out lit for many Pakistanis as to advertise themselves, I saw many of my friends creating their own interviews and vidz for their underground bands, which was then uploaded to youtube.com and ready to advertise it to their friends and to the whole world, it was actually a bit more than an advertising platform. But the genius out there or so called lovers lol have still many options to use youtube.com – that is using via a proxy, yes you can use a proxy to over ride the filter and gain the access to youtube.com . This maybe a little stricter and a little dumber action by the Pakistani authorities, what are your thoughts? Please let me know.

I’m Back

Hello every one !

Merry Christmas + Happy new year from my side, i know its a bit late but i would like to wish you a very happy new year. That dosent means that i am still in 2007 , actually as you know i’m from pakistan, and from the last few days we were having some political distortion here in Islamabad and thoughout the country due to Benazir’s assassination, you people might be heard of it.
